Please refer to the list of 'Red Words' that can be found in the front of your child's home school link book. These are tricky (common exception) words that children need to spell and use accurately in their writing.

Your child is taking part in a weekly spelling check of words that they have learned to spell and read during their Read Write Inc daily sessions. Please remember to hear your child read the books that they bring home, including practising the sounds and words in the front of the book. There are question prompts at the back to support discussion.

Remember to return the reading book the very next day!
