Induction 2024

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you and your child/ren to our school in September. Here you can find information detailing our induction activities over the next few weeks.

EYFS Induction 2024

Monday 10th June 2024- 6.30pm- Induction Meeting for Parents

Please join us in our school hall for a short power point presentation about our school, our induction activities and information about Early Years at NJK.

Drop in Sessions will be held on the following days:

Monday 17 th June, Thursday 20th June, Thursday 27 th June and Monday 1st July

These sessions will run from 10.30am – 11.15am and staff will be on hand to meet the children; there will also be an opportunity for parents to ask questions. There is no expectation that you and your child will attend all of these sessions but please feel free to attend as many as you feel necessary to give you and your child a chance to become familiar with the school staff and their new classroom and classmates. 

Parents/carers will need to remain on site and refreshments will be available.

Friday 12th July 2024- Induction Morning

Your child is also invited into school for our induction morning on Friday 12th July at 10am, until the end of the school morning at 11.45, when your child will be able to meet the class teacher and the other children in Willow class.  

You are also invited to stay at school and further information will be provided by representatives from the Governing Body, Parent Teachers Association, School Health Service and Headteacher.  

You will also have the opportunity to raise any questions at that time.
