We are delighted to announce that we have achieved the School Games GOLD Mark Award for the 2023/24 academic year – this makes 3 years in a row!

The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success.

As part of our application, we were asked to fulfil criteria in the areas of participation, competition, workforce and clubs, and we are pleased that the hard work of everyone at our school has been rewarded this year.

We look forward to applying once again in 2025!

    KS2 Class Dance Festival

Wednesday 12th February, all the KS2 classes came together to share what they had created in their dance lesson in PE. The performance were all fantastic and it was wonderful to be able to share the class creations with the rest of KS2.

Well done to our speedy super stars who represented South Worcestershire at the Country Cross Country on Thursday 6th February. The 5 pupils from NJK qualified for this tough event by placing in the top 6 in their respective races back in October, at the District Cross County competition at Prince Henry's High School. They each ran an excellent race and achieved the following places:

    Holly - 31st

    Harry - 9th

    Poppy - 29th

    Elsie - 36th

    Jacob 31st

Our super-skilled Panathlon team had a fantastic time at their event on Thursday 30th January. They took part in a range of activities, including:

    - table top cricket

    - kurling

    - basketball

    - polybat

    - target through

    - skittles

The team worked together to share tactics and encourage each other as well as demonstrate a range of skills accurately. They accumulated an impressive score over the course of the morning and came 2nd overall, beating 7 other schools and coming home with medals and a trophy!
