Parent Workshops - Tuesday 7th February
We have a Behaviour Workshop on Tuesday 7th February starting at 2.40pm. Mrs Berry will give an overview of the school’s behaviour policy and how the PSHE curriculum taught at NJK promotes good behaviour. This workshop is open to parents in all year groups. Mrs Berry will be consulting parents at this session about our behaviour policy.
Mrs Pasmore will also be offering a Phonics workshop for Year 1 parents on the same day. The Phonics Workshop will give an overview of what your child will need to know for the Statutory Phonics Screening Check in June. Mrs Pasmore will also share information about how the test is administered. The Phonics Workshop will start at 2.15pm followed by the Behaviour Workshop at 2.40pm.
If you would like to attend these valuable sessions, please contact Mrs Cross in the school office.

The pupils in our Collective Worship Crew prepared a very enjoyable Harvest Service on Thursday morning. They shared the Bible story of ‘The Sower and the seed’ from Mark 4:3-9 and led the whole school, including lots of parents, in prayer: Fruits of the Spirit Prayer
Lord of the Harvest
We welcome your spirit to work in our lives.
Let your word take root so that,
Your love may grow up,
Your joy may spread out,
And your peace become deeper in us each day.
Thank you to everyone who attended and for your kind donations. These will be sent on to the Worcestershire Food Bank.

We have already received some fabulous elephant designs and as you can see - the elephants are looking very much at home at NJK. Can you guess where they are? Don't forget to complete yours via the activity set on Seesaw. Keep checking back to see if yours has found a cosy spot somewhere in the school grounds!

What an amazing day!
The sun was shining, the pupils were excited, the staff were determined to make it happen and the whole school community came together at last!!
Our school vision:
'Together, with the love and joy of God, we will discover, develop & maximise our unique potential' was clearly evident throughout the whole event. Our KS2 Sport Leaders ably assisting throughout the day, encouraging the younger pupils, a huge amount of support from the parents and some amazing track and field skills demonstrated by our pupils.
Thank you to everyone for making it such a special occasion.
