Session 1- Petri - fied!

Syringes, petridishes, tubing and pipettes were just some of the equipment children used in their exciting experiments during session 1.

 

Session 2 - Out of this world

Session 2 was all about 'hypothesising'. Why is Neil Armstrong's footprint still on the moon's surface after 50 years? Our scientists today set up space themed experiments. We found out about the moons surface and how craters are formed, how to propel a rocket of our own and why using shiny materials as insulation can work well.
