COVID-19 AAT UPDATE TUESDAY 17th MARCH
COVID-19 AAT UPDATE
As the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic upon the UK deepens, we want to reassure you that all schools within the Trust are regularly reviewing their approaches in light of the rapidly changing situation.
At this point in time we do not have any pupils or staff in our schools who have confirmed cases of the virus. However, some are self-isolating following advice from NHS 111 or due to underlying health conditions. Current advice remains that everyone should carry on as normal unless symptoms suggest the need for self-isolation.
You will understandably be concerned, as we all are, about the health of pupils and staff, but our schools are following current government advice and remaining open as usual. Nonetheless, it is likely that the government will very soon make a decision on school closures. We can assure you that when this happens our schools will put into place plans to keep our pupils in touch over what might well be a period of extended closure. Strategies will include home learning pages on websites, accompanied by home learning packs and quality assured online resources.
If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact us via [email protected]
Best wishes
