At NJK, we embrace a variety of technology tools and software to enhance learning and creativity in computing. Every class is equipped with an interactive whiteboard, making lessons dynamic and engaging. Students use laptops and iPads to explore coding, digital creativity, and research, allowing them to develop essential digital skills. We also have Beebot robots, which provide a fun, hands-on introduction to programming and problem-solving for younger learners. Additionally, our BBC Micro:bits give students the opportunity to experiment with coding and electronics, encouraging innovation and computational thinking. Together, these tools help prepare our students for a digital future in an engaging and interactive way.

We use Purple Mash as a key part of delivering our computing lessons, providing a safe and interactive online platform where students can learn coding, digital literacy, and creativity. Purple Mash offers a wide range of activities and projects tailored to different age groups, helping pupils build skills step-by-step in an engaging way.
