Year 5 Shine at the RGS ‘Eggstravaganza’ STEM Competition

Eight Year 5 pupils represented the school at the annual RGS ‘Eggstravaganza’ STEM competition this week. The event brought together local schools for a fun and challenging engineering task.

Working in two teams, the children collaborated to design and build a bridge strong enough to support a Cadbury’s Creme Egg. Their creativity, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills were evident throughout the challenge.

A special congratulations goes to ‘The Creative Constructors’, who achieved an impressive 3rd place out of 19 competing teams.

All pupils demonstrated the school’s values exceptionally well and were outstanding ambassadors for NJK. Their efforts and conduct throughout the event were greatly admired.
